The project
Keller was appointed as the specialist geotechnical contractor for a major community mall development at Dubai Creek Harbour, delivering ground improvement across more than 240,000 m² using Dynamic Compaction and Dynamic Replacement.
The challenge
Highly variable ground conditions required adaptive treatment techniques and increased compaction energy to consistently achieve the specified performance criteria across the site.
The solution
Based on site trials and technical assessments, Keller optimized the treatment methodology to Heavy Dynamic Compaction and Heavy Dynamic Replacement, applying higher energy levels to suit the actual ground conditions and achieve the required design performance.
Keller’s technical approach was approved by the client, and the works were successfully delivered within the agreed programme through effective planning, coordination and execution.
The project recorded zero safety incidents and strong quality performance, earning client appreciation and strengthening the relationship for future collaboration.
