Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing welding tasks on various types of equipment and structures to
ensure maintenance and repair work is completed. - Proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.
- Fabrication of new necessary machinery, plants and parts.
- Competent in reading and interpreting construction drawings; Expertise in structural welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Plasma Cutting).
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment and accessories in good condition, avoid breakdowns and diagnose the reasons for failure/breakdown of welding equipment, and communicate it.
- Be aware of safe operational conditions of different types of welding equipment.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as a welder within a Geotechnical Organization or similar working environment.
