Ground improvement works at Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City District One – Phase 3 Villas in Meydan area located in the heart of Dubai, covering 420,000m² using Dynamic Replacement (DR) and Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC) techniques.
The challenge
Working under UAE summer conditions with restricted night shifts due to quiet neighbourhoods and a tight schedule requiring periodic handovers during the project.
The solution
Ensured rigorous quality assurance through internal CPT testing to minimize rework, optimized energy application for varying soil behavior, and allowed extended shifts with restrictions near residential areas while providing operator comfort with air-conditioned rigs during summer break hours.
